Safari Parks in the United States and South America

Just like Myrtle Beach Safari Zoo and the T.I.G.E.R.S Preservation Station is popular in the United States, similarly, South Africa has much to offer, ranging from a deeply interesting political history to the exceptional and dense variety of wildlife. It came to be the culturally diverse and unique country it is today following the momentous anti-apartheid struggle, fronted by leaders like Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo. The nine provinces that came as a result of the political strife of the 1900s played host to some of the world’s most fascinating animals including the largest living land mammal, the African Elephant, leopards, rhinos and so many more. So, if you’re thinking about taking the trip of a lifetime to safari in South Africa, it’s no surprise. The adventure is definitely out there. An Overview of Ecotourism

Hello readers, I, Doc Antle have an amazing blog to share with you'll. It's an overview on the ecotourism which is broadly defined as low impact travel to endangered and often undisturbed locations. It is different from traditional tourism because it allows the traveler to become educated about the areas - both in terms of the physical landscape and cultural characteristics, and often provides funds for conservation and benefits the economic development of places that are frequently impoverished. Facts about Tigers.

The tigers in our t.i.g.e.r.s. preservation are of the most loved and pampered animals. Below, I ( Doc Antle ) have shared a link that talks about some basic facts about the tigers. The tiger is the largest member of the felid (cat) family. They sport long, thick reddish coats with white bellies and white and black tails. Their heads, bodies, tails and limbs have narrow black, brown or gray stripes. There were once nine subspecies of tigers: Bengal, Siberian, Indochinese, South Chinese, Sumatran, Malayan, Caspian, Javan and Bali. Of these, the last three are extinct, one is extinct in the wild, and the rest are endangered. Read more: https://defenders.org/tiger/basic-facts

The Great Pyramid of Giza.

I have always had a fascination towards traveling and exploring the world, However, due to my work and responsibilities towards the t.i.g.e.r.s. Preservation and Myrtle Beach Safari Zoo , I seldom get a chance to travel out of the country. If ever I get a chance now, the one place I'd really like to witness is the The Great Pyramid of Giza Located about ten miles southwest of Cairo, was built as a burial site for Egyptian pharaoh Khufu in the 26th century BCE. Standing at 481 feet high, the Great Pyramid was not only the largest pyramid ever built, it remained one of the tallest structures in the world until the late 19th century. Impressing visitors with its massiveness and beauty, it's no surprise that the Great Pyramid at Giza was considered one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Amazingly, the Great Pyramid has withstood the test of time, standing for over 4,500 years; it is the only Ancient Wonder to have survived to the present. Read more: https://www....

Birds are characterized by their unique ability to fly; however, some birds are devoid of this characterization! For some, evolution has led to the loss of this ability. There is a huge variety of flightless birds out there. Though most of them have not gained much popularity, there are a few like the penguin and the ostrich. These birds have acquired other characteristics which compensate for their inability to take off. These birds may appear fragile but are as strong and powerful as any other wild animal, so it’s wise not to undermine them! Different types of tigers living today.

Image
T.i.g.e.r.s. preservation is an effort to save the endangered species. It is situated in Myrtle Beach and founded by me i.e Doc Antle . Tigers, considered to be charismatic felines, megafauna, and apex predators, have 6 known subspecies surviving in the wild today. The tiger (Panthera tigris) is one of the most magnificent and awe-inspiring wild animals living today. A tiger is regarded as a charismatic megafauna and an apex predator and is classified in the genus Panthera. Tigers are territorial and generally solitary in nature. Tigers once roamed across Asia from Turkey to Eastern Siberia as well as across large parts of South and Southeast Asia. The global tiger population has drastically plummeted.Habitat destruction, habitat fragmentation, reduced food sources, poaching for skin, bones, and other body parts are some of the factors that are responsible for such decline in tiger numbers. There are ten recognized subspecies of tigers. One among these ten subspecies, the...

Heroic animals that protects humans.

Lions are often thought of as ferocious predators; the “King of the Jungle.” They have a mysterious, majestic air to them that draws people in usually to see them at a zoo or, if you’re lucky, then on a Myrtle Beach Safari . If you’re a cat lover, however, you may notice some surprising similarities between these big cats and your house cat. For instance, the way kitties like to rub up against their human’s legs. Lions in the wild exhibit a very similar behavior, especially when subordinate females or younger animals meet up with more dominant lions in the pride. When a subordinate lion comes upon a dominant lion, she lowers her head, lifts her tail, and rubs her head against the other animal. Establishing a “family scent” as she is doing is important in preventing and diffusing aggression among lions in the group. All members of a pride must bear the family scent in order to steer clear of trouble. Lions have also been described as heroic, even in protecting humans. ...

Get Close To The Rarest Tigers On Our Planet.

Endangered animals reached their endangered status mostly due to human intervention into their habitats. Some of the majestic wild animals that roam our world are also the ones that are the most endangered. The Myrtle Beach Safari is one of the most exciting adventure locations for wildlife lovers. It is your chance to encounter tigers, lions, wolves, chimpanzees, orangutans, and more. The Safari is an enclosure that is spread over 50 acres of lush South Carolina greenery. If you want to see the tigers and lions run free and feed their cubs, it is your best opportunity. We let our guests get close to the animals, play with them and pet them.  Many have described a trip to our safari as an unforgettable experience. The environment of the Safari is such that the animals run around wild and free, instead of being trapped in small cages. The Myrtle Safari is a fruit of all our hard work over the last 30 years. At the Safari and Preservation, we take all steps required to ensure the well being of each and every species. We consider it our objective to take care of them for as long a...
